This was a piece of lines I scribbled four years back...and surprisingly, it still holds good....Something about my never born (unfortunate) daughter...
I walked through the lonely lanes
With a cradle in my heart
When you will bless me
My bundle of love?
I feel your fragrance
Your gentle touch
I lost in your wonder world.
Your starry eyes,
A constellation for me
You fill my dreams
When I wrap you in my arms
And hold you close to my heart
You fill my life
Again –
Did I hear your whisper?
I experience,
The eternal bliss-
When you will bless me?
My little princess-
No more can I wait
No more –

it was indeed a touching poem.too...good
If you love this poem then you are in serious trouble. Its you versus you.
This poem is about the unborn daughter who you think can bring in love and joy and happiness and most importantly hope. It is anticipation ........about future. you want a good future. which is fine or rather fantastic. A linear thinking
You say before, you love the past. it feels nostalgic. As long as it is that, it is great. But is it limited to that.As an author your words are heavily laden with your love for the past as if you do not want to get out of that past.I dont know . I could be wrong.
I have always loved a poem which i read way back in my school days which has always inspired me. It is an Alfred Lord Tennyson poem,
Ring out wild bells ,
Ring out the old ones
And Ring in the new.
