Silencing Myself

For long time I thought I will not publish this literary writing through these postings. May be, I was waiting for a little more creations to get released out of my Soul...But for long time, it doesnt happen..The dryness of the profession had crept into my creative space, it seems....and ofcourse, the distance between the nasty "today-s" and the creative "trans" is far.......so, I thought, I will publish this here and long for the trans.....

This literary piece is the result of the eddies of some past moments....and therefore my search for the calmness within and outside...and the name..."Silencing Myself"

I slept into the noisy night
Search of solace for the soul
Just to silence myself.

I woke up into the drooping lights
Of scary reds and weary blues
I placed myself in the midst –
Rigid glasses, steaming smokes
Deafened by the stormy beats !
Just to silence myself.

Clapping hands, clashing cubes,
Bubbling tranquilizers around;
To keep my nerves tightly wound,
And an impelling slumber on lids
Just to silence myself

Those shrines, does he reign
With garland dome around

I laughed, and he too
God –
Is it you, or me?
Or these dancing auras around?
Or this bitter spice?

I drenched myself, queer!
Into the sedative bliss
And the diva in front
With the reluctant steps;
Hard to harmonise with
The dancing fools around.

Still the creator laughed!
Hanging on to the sable threads,
Gracing their strangled necks.
I felt it, in my hands-
And asked,
God –Do you believe?
Yes, was the answer
Strange indeed!

I got up, haste towards the door
With a frigid smile with in
The watchman did his usual nod
Still the soul in search
Just to silence myself.

I slipped into the noisy night,
With my friends around,
This is the time to play
Arduous tricks and nasty games
It is the time to wrestle,
And to gamble between the shambles
All hail, friends
End we say adieu!

I slept in to the stillness ever
Woke up into the crowded room
Withering silence around,
I turned behind, after a pause,
To see my shadow dissolve
I prayed to all again
Friends, forget me forever.
